Scotti Call has always had a passion for helping others and making personal connections that foster growth and healing. Previously, she was a certified teacher in the public school system in Louisiana and has expanded her love for teaching into the realm of holistic healthcare. She has a history of working with many different populations, including veterans with various health concerns; individuals searching for relief from arthritis and degenerative pain; patients who are frustrated with unanswered chronic illnesses and health questions; individuals seeking healthier lifestyles through weight loss or natural, effective, and noninvasive beauty procedures; and various women’s health issues, including menstrual disorders, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.

Currently based in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Scotti has her master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (MAcCHM) from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas. She is a Louisiana Medical Board and NCCAOM Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and is currently working toward her doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. Scotti is the owner and founder of Hawthorn Healthcare, an acupuncture and herbal medicine clinic that is the first of its kind in Southwest Louisiana. Her extensive experience is helping forge a path toward more accessible and compassionate holistic healthcare for the people of Louisiana.

Scotti has thousands of hours of experience practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine in clinics throughout Austin, Texas, and Lake Charles, Louisiana in both community and private settings. She enjoys helping patients with conditions that seem “unsolvable” by mainstream medicine and searching for answers to aid in improving each individual’s quality of life.
